Calculation
Calculation field are used to perform mathematical calculations to do automated calculation based on other fields in the same application.
The Calculation field
The Calculation field consist of the following four areas;
- Calculation Title
- Calculation Settings
- Calculation Formula
- Removed Calculation field
- Calculation Title
The title default is ‘Calculation’ but can be changed to represent any text values required.
Calculation Settings
The Calculation field has several features that can be accessed by clicking the icon and dropdown arrow located on the left side
WHEN THE SETTINGS ARROW ON THE LEFT IS CLICKED THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE:
Always Hidden
Ticking the box hides the field when it is displayed in the Spreadsheet view
Display whole number 1,000
Choosing this button makes the ‘Calculation – Field’ show integers without fractional numbers
Display two decimals 1,000.50
Choosing this button makes the ‘Calculation Field’ show two digit fractional numbers as an additional number accuracy.
Display four decimals 1,000.2500
Choosing this button makes the ‘Calculation Field’ show the larger fractions that require more accuracy.
Add Help Text
Clicking ‘Add Help Text’ pops up a box. Add the text you wish to appear under the Calculation input field as an explanation to help users.
Calculation Formula
To start with the formula, you can type @ to get choose the field that you want to reference. Please note that not every field can be referenced right now, we only support all the calculable field type such as Number & Money. In the near future, we’ll also add the support to allow string truncation in the formula.

Removed Calculation Field
To remove the Calculation field from the Toolset Builder, move your mouse to the right and click the ‘X’, the Calculation field will then be removed.
